If 2025 was a movie, the director went insane with the script: leadership montages and road trips turning into vanished romances, hospital thrillers, family goodbyes, seminar wins, and mountain finales with unreal friends. Now it’s 4:16 AM in 2026 January 2nd, and I’m here to roll the full recap.
This year was genuinely something else. milestones being hit in a short amount of time, opportunities flying in, things becoming reality, and a giant switch of a lifestyle.
At the beginning of this year, I was beyond burnt out. I thought it's gonna be the same year as 2024, still doing the basic stuffs, study, attend class, and "nongkrong". I didn't know what I was gonna do. Questions like "what is my purpose?" "is this really what I wanted?" "is this really worth pursuing?" "is this really my limit?" always floating around my head, never putting my foot on the pedal on anything. I had a personal relationship with Allah. I had thoughts of getting stuck and not do anything.
Faith became the key, manifesting, believing, because without belief, there’s no achieving. I realized ego blinded me; I needed help from Allah, family, friends to realign my mind and finally take action. So I started opening up, sharing negative thoughts, harsh truths, positives, little by little, especially with my brothers, letting trust rebuild me. This project, this website, became part of the plan: expressing my mind through writing brought ease, a release I’d always known I needed but ignored
I've always known my potential, because since kid, I've been blessed with knowledge that many others couldn't get, I just have to polish it and expand it. And This year really helped me, builds my character, finding back the true me, getting new habit, my surroundings really helped me, pushed me to know what I want to do. Damn, this is a long ass opening, lastly I really really really want to thank all the people in 2025 that have helped with my journey, even if it's a bad stuff, it helped me what to avoid, who not to copy, and when to act good. Genuinely, this might be my best year yet.
Alright now onto the recap,
That fire from faith and opening up fueled the first act immediately. January slammed with full weeks of praktikum matakuliah presentations, where I grabbed the wheel for four teams, carrying us to victory with all A's locked in. Even packed as it was, it felt fun, the groups clicked with changing thoughts, sharing knowledge amid laughs that made the grind feel alive. Sure, some members got dusted for laziness or whatever held them back, but tasting that leadership win proved I could push past my limits when I chose to.

February started strong before the school break kicked in, finals felt easy, pushing me to near-perfect 4.0 GPA at 3.95, only one B screwing it because the assistant messed me up, man. That freedom hit next with the Roti Kukus Ainan gang planning our escape, dodging crashes this time (Alhamdulillah) as we hit Gunung Sumbul first, recreating Fawas's old accident pics LOL!, then soaked in Rancabali hot springs before cruising home, world feeling ours for a moment.

Still riding February's high, the 8th rolled in when Darren roped me into accompanying him to Jakarta for a girlfriend surprise, I ended up the ultimate third wheeler since I was single (yeah, yeah), but it was pure fun with friends from junior high days, close as brothers. The trip flew by in laughs, then suddenly they flipped it. She came to our city like 3 days later, and with old friend Elin joining the crew, I wasn't third-wheeling anymore we turned tourist guides, cafe hopping all day, hitting Desa Bambu for wild entertainment (got that epic water slide video, shit was amazing).
March picked up right where February's chaos left off, but with a grudge match against that weird lab assistant from praktikum, who passed other groups' lazy members but dusted my friend's despite him putting in some work.
March paragraph (lab assistant drama)
Fast-forward to March, circling back to those groupmates who bombed the class: turns out it was that one lab assistant, pretty weird if you ask me, she let other teams slide with zero effort but nailed my friend even after he grinded a bit. Couldn't let it sit, so I stepped in, helped him chat her up, fighting for what he earned because fairness matters when you're building from the ground up.
